Shinkansen Park - 新幹線

Just west of the Hankyu Imazu Line the Shinkansen enters the Rokko Tunnel that takes the train 16km under the mountains to Shin-Kobe Station. You can stand above the tunnel and watch (and hear!) the trains shoot down the tracks. Not much here to play with other than some rocks. There are a few benches, a memorial, and a small dirt play area. Fun to watch the trains and close to the station. No toilets.

A large city park with big fields to play on. In the north-east corner are two playsets. Both have multiple slides and other fun things to touch. Mia quickly gave up on the one for her age group and went to the one for the older kids. We showed up around 3PM and the park was packed with other kids.
