New Year's Card -

If you found this blog you most likely got one of these in the mail. This is our New Year's card for 2010. In Japan nengajo, as they are called, are the equivalent of the American Christmas card. We wrote a note on the back in English for you all outside of Japan, but might be wondering what's that written on the front. So here's the translation.
means
This year our new family will grow bigger. From now please gently watch over us.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

(If you can't see the Japanese characters you might want to take a look here to for instructions on how to install Asian fonts.)

Mommy Cleaned the Toilet

If you clean the toilet when your pregnant, you'll have a beautiful baby. So today Mommy cleaned the toilet

Daddy's sick and working hard

My Dad got pretty sick this weekend, but Mom helped him. Even though I was making her feel bad, she still brought Dad food and blankets. Dad was able to make our nen-ga-jyo today. It says my name on it! Wow!

Hello World!

Hello everyone!

I'm not born yet. I don't even know if I'm a boy or a girl! I don't even have a name. My parents are thinking about that still. I do have a nickname. Koguma-chan in English. It means "small bear." You see, my mommy calls my daddy kuma-chan all the time. I think it's because he's big, hairy and a little stinky. Since he's the big bear, I'm the little bear and I like it!
