| Thank you Obachan! |
Odairi-sama, the boy, and Ohina-sama, the girl, are the two main dolls of Japan's Hina Matsuri or Girl's Festival. The traditional sets fill giant staircase like presentation platforms. We don't have the space so Mia's grandmom got us this cute basic set made from chirimen. The actual day of Hina Matsuri is March 3rd. We'll put them away the 4th. It's superstition that the sooner you put away your dolls the better the chances that your daughter will get married at an opportune age.
