If you found this blog you most likely got one of these in the mail. This is our New Year's card for 2010. In Japan nengajo, as they are called, are the equivalent of the American Christmas card. We wrote a note on the back in English for you all outside of Japan, but might be wondering what's that written on the front. So here's the translation.
means今年は、新しく家族が増える予定です。これからも温かく見守っていて下さい。
This year our new family will grow bigger. From now please gently watch over us.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!
